This woodworking project is a creative yard project. A great way to navigate your way through the back yard on those foggy nights. Not only is this project fun to build and decorate, it also makes a great conversation piece. Just be sure to buy enough wood to build a couple of them because when your neighbor sees it, he’ll want you to build him one too.

This project is clearly a woodworker's favorite.  What better way to hail your guests and showcase your woodworking talent at the same time?  We've seen so many great photos of finished lighthouses -- the decoration possibilities are truly endless.  One fellow woodworker added a bug zapper to the top of his lighthouse (which actually looked pretty neat).  Another customer put a revolving light with a timer on his lighthouse and stuck it by his pond! The lighthouse can stand by itself with no improvements, but as seen in the picture, we recommend a solar light be added to the top of the lighthouse.  5 feet tall.
